<div class="byline">Kellci Ford Sports Reporter</div> Mineral Wells 7U team crowned champions on home turf The 7v7 Mineral Wells Rams 7U team played for the 2023 Metroplex Youth Football Association championship, held at Ram Stadium recently and came out on top with the trophy to prove it. These young ballers were coached by Rounell Johnson and Jeremy Gadd. Next up for Mineral Wells Youth Football is fall football and cheer sign ups. Registration is open online now at www.mwysa.com and in-person registration will take place June 6th from 6-8 pm and June 13th from 6-8 pm at Ram Stadium during the Rams football camp. They will hold uniform sizing June 10th from 10 am-3 pm and June 15th from 5:30-8:30 pm at the MW Chamber of Commerce, in their new downtown location in Poston’s square. Cheer uniform sizing and in-person registration is Saturday May 27th from 8 am-12pm.
