New MWHS video scoreboard benefits community, no cost to taxpayers

MINERAL WELLS — Mineral Wells Trustees recently approved marketing plans for a $710,000 digital video scoreboard at Ram Stadium that won’t cost taxpayers nor the school district a dime. Boys Athletic Director Seth Hobbs presented the plan to the trustees and said he’s condent he can secure enough advertising sponsorships for the two-sided scoreboard to pay for itself over the next ve years.
