The Wranglerette of the Week for October 28th is Aniya Chavez. Aniya is a senior and a first-year line member. Aniya has shown dedication and hard work this past week as we prepare for senior night performances. Make sure to come see Aniya and the rest of the seniors get recognized before the game tonight. Also, stay for halftime to see Aniya and the Wranglerettes perform!
Keep it low and let it roll. Remember this when it comes to chipping and short pitch shots. I see a lot of players trying to hit huge flop shots close to the green when it is not necessary. When you’re around the greens you should only try to loft the ball high in the air when that’s the ONLY option you have. My philosophy in short game has always been the bigger your swing is, the more room for error there is.
