WACO — The CCS Warriors have become familiar with winning this season, and are making a name for themselves in 6 man football again. The seniors of this Warrior team are paving the way and stepped up big against the Methodist Children’s Home Bulldogs on Friday night in a 65-31 win.

MILLSAP — The ‘Dawgs are carrying some momentum into the end of the regular season with their 2nd consecutive win. Millsap is keeping their eyes on the prize, and making a playoff push with only 2 district games left. The Bulldogs faced the Eastland Mavericks this past week and left with a victory, led by senior Ryder Oliver who racked up 275 rushing yards and ending with 3 touchdowns. Additionally, Tripp Moore and Carter Nairn also ran in for a touchdown each, and rounding out the scoring was Mason Burns who had a touchdown on 36 receiving yards.

PALO PINTO COUNTY — A Graford baseball tournament complex and vacation spot with an estimated $200 million financial impact to the community is at risk of closing due to an impasse with city officials over access to potable water.

MINERAL WELLS — Spooky Wells, a trick or treat event in downtown Mineral Wells, gets underway on Monday, Oct. 31.
