Rams Pink Out night update!

MINERAL WELLS — Rams senior Blake Blue was photographed at the week 7 game showing off the shirt under his uniform with “4 marissa” written across it. I was pulled aside by MWHS Student Alexis Martin as she requested the photo, stating that her mom was who Blue was honoring on his shirt during the Pink Out game at Ram Stadium. Alexis said this about the special event, “My mom, Marisa Martin was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer in July. Pink out is for breast cancer awareness, but emotions ran deep talking about families fighting all kinds of cancer in our community at the pep rally. It is really hard watching your mom go through this at a young age. She has lots of support and the Blue family are part of that support group.”
