In my relatively short time living in Mineral Wells I have found it odd to see such a vocal community abandon the one place they should be speaking the loudest. I do not want to look at my children and leave them with a world where I only complained on Facebook but never went where my opinion actually counted.

MW CHURCH OF GOD PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mason Facteau Mason Facteau was selected as the Mineral Wells Church of God Player of the Game in Springtown on Friday night! Mason displayed outstanding effort against the Porcupines! He carried the ball 11 times for 77 yards and a touchdown! He also threw the ball for 70 yards included a 21 yard TD pass to Trayvon Berkins! Congratulations Mason!!!!!!!! .

Mineral Wells comes up short to Springtown ‘Pines on the road

SPRINGTOWN — The Rams traveled to Springtown for a distrit matchup against the Porcupines and came up short in the end with a final score of 22-56. The game was not without great moments from the Rams which were led in yards by QB Mason Facteau stepped up to make some plays for the Rams, rushing for 77 yards and passing for another 70 yards including a 21 yard passing TD to sophomore Treyvon Berkins and a rushing TD of his own. Adding to the ground game was Fabian Martinez who ran for 48 yards and a touchdown.
