Teamwork makes the dreamwork

MINERAL WELLS — On any given day if you stop by the Boyce Ditto Library you might see one of 24 volunteers who work aside the library staff to help keep the library running. Volunteer Coordinator and Boyce Ditto Library Advisory Board Member Dawna Martin has a well-organized program that utilizes the countless hours of volunteer work to counter staff shortages and keep the library circulating the many materials that the residents of Palo Pinto County depend upon.

Rams fall to Coyotes in district opener at Ram Stadium

MINERAL WELLS — Mineral Wells hosted the Wichita Falls High School Coyotes for opening night of district play for both teams. Both teams came into the evening with an even 3-3 record on the season, but the slate is cleared now that the second half of the season has begun. Unfortunately for the Rams, they took the first loss of the district matchups 18-42, moving to 3-4 overall and 0-1 in district play.

PLAYER OF THE GAME

Jonathan Hammer Jonathan Hammer was selected as the Mineral Wells Church of God Player of the Game in Friday’s game at Ram Stadium against the Wichita Falls Coyotes! Jonathan registered 7 tackles and had an interception in the district opening game for the Rams! Congratulations! .
