I’ve always been a Christmas junkie. My family was traditional with turkey dinner during Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’ve changed that now to prime rib or venison roast for my family and I on the big day.

MINERAL WELLS — At Mineral Wells High School’s first Tarleton State University Day, Nov. 15, 26 students were accepted and received scholarships to head to Stephenville in the fall and join the Texans.
Fundraising festival benefits volunteer firefighters
Palo Pinto — The Palo Pinto Press joined other community representatives to raise money for the Palo Pinto Volunteer Fire Department during its fundraiser festival around the Palo Pinto County Courthouse square on Saturday, Nov. 19.
Goal setting will improve your golf game
To take your golf game to the next level you must push yourself to accomplish the goals you set, but make sure they are achievable and tangible. I always ask my students what their goals are for their golf game.
