Perrin Rodeo Team hosts area high school rodeo competition in Mineral Wells
MINERAL WELLS — The Perrin Rodeo team hosted their annual high school rodeo competition at the Palo Pinto County Livestock Association arena in Mineral Wells last weekend. Of the competitors in the rodeo were athletes from all over north Texas including Mineral Wells, Perrin, Tolar, Joshua, Aledo, Lipan, Springtown, Millsap and many other surrounding areas.

STRAWN — A couple of local martial arts competitors are headed to the UK to represent Team USA in an international tournament in the fall.
Mineral Wells runners claim several spots for regional meet
GRAHAM — Mineral Wells Track and Field athletes competed in the district track meet in Graham last week, competing well, and having several qualify for the next round. Gavriel Rodriquez, Gage Lawhorn, Frederico Villa, Jaidun Fisher, Nicholas Rodriquez, Dezmon White, Josiah Zapata, Javawn McKinney, Aniya Richardson and Mia Chavira all qualified for the area meet which will be held in Abilene on Friday April 11.
