Hike into the New Year

The Palo Pinto Mountain State Park Partners Annual Meeting & Hike in the Park is set for 1 – 4 p.m. at the Park Maintenance Barn, Jan. 25.

The park is in the Western Cross Timbers Ecoregion, in the southwest corner of Palo Pinto County and the southeast corner of Stephens County. The nearest town is Strawn, which serves as the park’s gateway.

Park Superintendent James Adams will present a slideshow update of park construction progress followed by a Q&A.

Facebook auction winners will be announced followed by a brief meeting and hike in the park for members (weather permitting).

Available at the meeting:

  • Mugs – small $20 / large $25
