Let’s Grow Crazy, a nonprofit dedicated to food equity and sustainable agriculture, will host its annual Farm-to-Table Dinner and fundraiser on Friday, April 25, from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Crazy Water Hotel in downtown Mineral Wells.
The event celebrates locally sourced food, sustainable practices and community engagement. Proceeds will support Let’s Grow Crazy’s gardening and educational programs across Palo Pinto County.
Guests will enjoy a four-course meal prepared by Chef David Bull of Second Bar + Kitchen. The menu features ingredients sourced from within 60 miles of Mineral Wells and includes pan-roasted chicken thighs, lemon-pepper crusted pork loin, spinach-herb primavera pasta, and pecan pie with whipped goat cheese, salted caramel and candied pecans.
“This event is more than a dinner—it’s a way to bring people together around the shared values of community, sustainability and good food,” said Tai Saylor, founder of Let’s Grow Crazy and co-founder of the annual dinner.
The evening begins with a reception serving deviled farm eggs, cucumber-caprese skewers and sweet and sour pork belly.
The fundraiser also includes the “Bucks for Beans” reverse raffle. For $50, guests can purchase a bag of beans for a chance to win cash prizes, including a $1,000 grand prize. A total of $2,500 in prizes will be awarded. Supporters who are unable to attend can purchase raffle entries in advance.
“‘Bucks for Beans’ is a fun way to support our cause while giving someone the chance to take home a big prize,” Saylor said. “It’s always a hit and adds some excitement to the night.”
Tickets are $150 and include dinner and raffle entry. To purchase tickets or raffle entries, visit letsgrowcrazy.org/events.
