MINERAL WELLS—Ram Nation is set to salute the best of its best at the Ram Elite Reception and Ceremony, April 30.
Two senior students from a pool of eight finalists will be named the 2025 Ram Elites during the event at the Mineral Wells High School auditorium. A finalist breakfast for students and their immediate family begins at 9 a.m. The top two contenders from the finalists will be dubbed the winners during a public ceremony at 10 a.m.
Faculty and staff nominated the candidates for their dedication to education, involvement in school activities, respect among peers, leadership qualities, good citizenship, school loyalty, award recognitions and community commitment.
Each finalist submitted a detailed profile including their extracurricular activities, volunteer work, club and organization memberships, postsecondary plans, intended field of study and career goals.
“Their achievements reflect the spirit and values of Ram Nation and we are proud to celebrate them,” Mineral Wells ISD Communications Director Karyn Bullock said in an April 16 announcement. “We invite the community to join us in honoring their accomplishments and continued dedication to excellence.”

I have helped with Merry wells, blood drive, Clark gardens arbor day, Lamar fun fest, Houston field day, wrapping gifts for Tommy’s angels, veterans’ day volunteer, and salvation army bell.

I plan to attend Blinn College
If you’re attending college or training, what is your intended major or field of study?
Associates of Nursing
What is your intended career path?
I plan to become a Registered Nurse in the Pediatrics field.
What is your favorite memory from your time at Mineral Wells High School?
I don’t have one specific memory, but my favorite memories are from nursery landscape contests and the trips to state throughout high school.
Caylee Cloud
What extracurricular activities, clubs, organizations, or sports have you been involved in during high school?
I have been a member of the National Honor Society, Future Farmers of America, Varsity Volleyball, JV Girls’ Basketball, and UIL math.

I have volunteered at concession stands, the Crazy Water Festival, Merry Wells, Mineral Wells Youth Camps, Mission Arlington, UIL practice meets, greeting kids at Houston Elementary School, Chicken-E All-Star Basketball games, bake sales, placing flags around the community, Meals on Wheels, and have helped wrap presents for the Angel Tree.
What are your plans after graduation? (College, career, military, etc.)
After graduation, I plan to attend Texas Tech University where I will major in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Aerospace Engineering.

Mechanical Engineering
What is your intended career path?
With a Mechanical Engineering degree, I can go into many different industries. I would love to be in a field of cars, spacecraft, or even for a forensics engineering company.
What is your favorite memory from your time at Mineral Wells High School?
My favorite memory from my time at Mineral Wells High School is definitely being on the volleyball team. I was on the varsity team all four years and got to experience so much while playing. During my junior year, we played at a tournament in Bay City, and for my senior year, the whole team went to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Volleyball was my favorite sport to play, so I got to do my passion while also creating lifelong friendships with my teammates. The memories that I made while playing volleyball with stick with my through my whole life.

I have been involved in track and cross country for the past four years, and I am involved in NHS and FFA. I was apart of the cheer team as the mascot this year.

I am apart of three serves teams( children’s church, sound board and nursery team) that I alternate to work every Sunday morning at church, I also have helped with every Jr. High track and cross country meets. I have volunteered a couple shifts ringing the bell for salvation army.

I plan to Attend Howard Payne Texas university.

I Intend to get my Bachelor’s in Nursing and minor in Cross Cultural Ministry.

I plan to take my Nursing degree and become a Nurse in the mission field.

My favorite memory world be this year at the graham track meet, where me and one of my favorite sophomores, Hannah, talked and laugh so hard we cried,

My favorite memories in high school would have to be anything to do with FFA. I love the early morning contests, state conventions, stock shows, meetings, speaking events, and community we’ve built within our FFA Chapter.
