Striper are slow to fair. Live bait is putting a few fish in the boat, but that can even be a little slow. Downriggers aren’t catching anything at the moment. Your best bet is to just put baits in the water and slowly move around with the trolling motor until you find them. Once you find them, try to stay with them.
Sandbass are still slow. Look for them in 20-30 feet of water. Use live shad or small slabs and jigs or rattle traps. White and silver are good colors.
Catfish are still fair to good. Cut shad or your favorite brand of stink bait, also known as punch bait, is still producing good numbers of fish in 15-30 feet of water fished on or near the bottom.
The water temp is steady at 68-74° F.
Water clarity is steady at 4-10 feet of visibility.
