Palo Pinto — The Palo Pinto Press joined other community representatives to raise money for the Palo Pinto Volunteer Fire Department during its fundraiser festival around the Palo Pinto County Courthouse square on Saturday, Nov. 19.

MINERAL WELLS — At Mineral Wells High School’s first Tarleton State University Day, Nov. 15, 26 students were accepted and received scholarships to head to Stephenville in the fall and join the Texans.

MINERAL WELLS — The Indian Creek Baptist Church held a groundbreaking for their upcoming New Life Center following the church’s Sunday service on Nov. 13.

MINERAL WELLS — MWISD elementary schools partnered with the Mineral Wells Chamber Area of Commerce Leadership Class #27 to help raise funds for the Crazy Dog Park construction. Together the students raised $3, 313.49.

Now that Halloween is over, what to do with all those pumpkins? Well, there’s a bunch of bats nearby that would love to eat them. The third annual Bat World Sanctuary pumpkin dive is underway accepting uncut, unpainted pumpkins.

MINERAL WELLS — Christmas Magic, a new year-round Christmas store, held a grand opening in the Crazy Water Hotel pavilion, Sept. 16, just in time for the coming holiday season.

We had a good turnout for line dance class and if bingo is in your cards, we also had a good showing.e center held its first parking lot sale last Saturday and had a fantastic sale. anks to everyone who donated items, their time and energy, and mostly to the community for your support.
