April 5 – Crazy Kicker Bike Ride, 8 a.m. at 200 W. Hubbard St., Mineral Wells. Riders are invited to the 21st Annual Rotary Crazy Kicker cycling tour across scenic Palo Pinto County.
Happy Spring! Isn’t this a wonderful time of year? Warm sunshine, cool breezes (some breezes are a little stronger than others), new life all around us. The Texas Mesquite trees are budding out along with Bluebonnets, pecan trees, and beautiful wildflowers in every ditch and road shoulder.

As many of you will probably read, an article is in today’s paper regarding the Turkey Peak Water Reservoir Project to be built as an extension of Lake Palo Pinto in the south part of the county. I attended the meeting at the Lone Camp Baptist Church.
