_is week’s Remember Well comes from Kelvin Jackson, a descendant of German settlers in Dodson Prairie. _e 1925 family photo is in front of the home of Joseph Karl and Franciska Ondra Nowak with their children and grandchildren. Jackson’s grandmother is in the picture as a baby. _e couple immigrated from Europe, built this house, and farmed the land until their deaths. Joseph died in 1946 at age 76, and Franciska passed away in 1926 when she was 56. Both are buried in the historic Dodson Prairie cemetery along with many other family members.
