Jimmie Floyd Tuggle, 87, passed away December 25, 2022. He was born to Floyd and Hazel Kelly Tuggle on August 19, 1935, in Bennett, Texas.
Heaven gained a precious Angel. Mildred Louise Smiddy Davis Walls, age 92, was born April 8, 1930 and left her earthly struggle December 10, 2022.

Coralie Jewel (Phillippe) Andrew, 91, was born on December 15, 1930, in Choteau, Oklahoma, to Gerald Riley and Pearl Edith (Weaver) Phillippe, and passed away on December 2, 2022 in Mineral Wells, Texas. Coralie married Albert Merton Andrew on January 1, 1950, in Wichita, Kansas.
Talton Burton Hulin, Sr., 64, passed away December 2,2022 at home in Mineral Wells, TX. He was born February 8, 1958 to Alfred Hulin, Sr. and Alice Hulin in Mineral Wells; the baby boy and the seventh child out of eight siblings. Talton graduated from Mineral Wells High School in May 1977. During his tenure there, he would go on to set many MWHS records as a running back wearing his favorite number “35” which his children proudly wore as they competed in different athletic activities. He married the love of his life, Joyce Lynn Brady, in June 1977. This union resulted in four beautiful children. Talton was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Hulin, Sr. and Alice Hulin; son, Talton Burton, Jr. in 1998; and his beautiful wife, Joyce Hulin in 2018. Talton lived a life surrounded by loved ones and is survived by daughters, Tawahna Hulin-Renfro and husband Marvin Renfro Sr., Tamera Hulin (Hunsinger) and husband Randy Hunsinger; son, George Nicholas Rios and wife, Amanda Rios; grandchildren, Jarrett Wayne Masias, Anthony Hulin, Terrel Hulin, Nicholas Rios Jr, Jasmine Rios, Destiny Renfro, Marvin Renfro Jr, and Elijah Hunsinger; great grandchildren, Royalty Hulin, Reign Hulin, Amaya Hulin, Ava Hulin, and Isaiah Hulin; siblings, Hattie Ligons of Mineral Wells, TX; Alfred and Florence Hulin of Ft. Worth, TX; Fred Hulin Sr of Phoenix, AZ; Liller (Beta) Morquecho and Gilbert Smith of Mineral Wells, TX; Alice Hulin of Mineral Wells, TX; Donnetha Hulin of Mineral Well, TX; and Sara Hulin of Mineral Wells, TX; longtime brother and best friend, Bill Kinder and wife Robin Kinder; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, life-long friends in the community; and the many he served as surrogate father, grandfather, and uncle. During his lifetime, Talton was known to love his heavenly father, wife, kids, grandchildren, family, and friends. Melinda Darnell Ball passed away October 27, 2022 at home surrounded by family. She was born August 2, 1974, in San Diego, California, to John F. Heneka and Deborah Elaine Pearce. Melinda loved to help and care for people, which is evident in her work at local nursing homes, but even more so in caring for her parents’, Deborah and Terry Cramer, medical needs in her later years, up until the day when her own health had taken a turn for the worse. Melinda, who grew up across the country, faced many challenges in completing her education, but she was able to succeed through self-determination and hard work. An accomplishment that she was proud of. Even more so that she was able to create a stable environment for all four of her children to graduate. Melinda’s life was rarely easy, but she lived it with honesty, self sacrifice, and a big heart. A loving mother and devoted daughter that was very much loved and will be missed. Survived by her children Matthew Cramer, Robert Cramer Ball, Jeremy Ball, Alyss Cramer Ball; her dad, Terry Cramer; brother, Johnathan Heneka; and sister and her husband, Suzann and Eddie Sterling. Elizabeth Ann Huddleston, 72, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends on November 10, 2022. Elizabeth (Liz) was born on January 3, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas to James (JR) and Viola McNeill. She married the love of her life, Allen Ray Huddleston, on March 14, 1970. They lived a great life together for almost 50 years until Allen went to be with Jesus in 2017. Liz loved spending time with her family and friends. All her many grandbabies, whether blood or not, were her world. Her and Allen were Cross Country Truck Driver’s for over 20 years. They traveled the country together and seen many great things. Liz then went to work at Palo Pinto Country Jail as a Correctional Officer until she retired. One of the things she was most proud of was being an Ordained Minister. She served with many ministries and was a Chaplin at the jail. She loved to show everyone the way to Jesus and she was very good at it. Liz was part of a Church Praise Dance Team for many years that she loved dearly and made many great friendships, which included her “Twin” Beverly Sanders and her Cindy Lou Who. Liz was preceded in death by her father, JR McNeill; mother, Viola McGowan; husband, Allen Huddleston; brother, Tobe McNeill; two sons, Troy Huddleston and Timothy Huddleston; great-granddaughter, Neveah Faith Butler; and two of her Praise Dance Team sisters, Becky Brooks and Stephanie Craig. Our loving mother and grandmother, Lavell Hancock Roberts, went to be with her lord and Savior Jesus Christ, at the age of 101 on November 12, 2022. Services for Lavell Hancock Roberts, a long time Mineral Wells resident and merchant, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Revs. Barry and Margie Holmes, along with Lavell’s nephew, Pastor Mike Morris, will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Brian Sumner, Christopher Roberts, Chad Roberts, Brett Roberts, Brian Hinze, Weston Hinze, Waylon Hinze, Allen Blocker, and Kirk Jordan. Lavell Roberts passed away peacefully at her home. She was born in Frederick, Oklahoma on September 28, 1921, the eldest child of Sidney Leon Sr. and Martha Agatha Roberts Hancock. Lavell attended grade school and high school at Fairview, Texas, near Burkburnett. She continued her education at Business School in Frederick, Oklahoma. Lavell Hancock Roberts grew up during the Great Depression and was no stranger to hard work, an ethic that lasted throughout her lifetime. She married George Thomas Roberts Jr., March 2, 1942, in Wichita Falls. In 1946, she and her husband moved to Mineral Wells and purchased the White’s Auto Store in the downtown area, which later became Western Auto. During Lavell’s lifetime, she truly had a life well lived and well loved. She took great pride and honor in the people and organizations in her community. Lavell took special interest in and was a member of the Art Club, Ceramic Art Club, Women’s Club and Zonta Club, and was a past president of the Zonta Club. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and in her younger days, was involved in Church activities, including teaching and working with the youth at the church.
