SANTO—Congratulations to Danita Ivy, the latest winner of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses at Palo Pinto General Hospital.
Ivy works at the Santo Clinic. Her colleagues say she is a “caring, loving nurse who always goes the extra mile to make a patient feel heard and understood.”
Thank you Danita for everything you do!
The DAISY Award is an international recognition program started in memory of J. Patrick Barnes. His family experienced firsthand the difference his nurses made in his care through clinical excellence and outstanding compassionate care.
The Barnes family created The DAISY Award to express gratitude to nurses and to enable other patients, families and staff to thank and honor their special nurses.
If a nurse has touched your heart or made your experience at PPGH special, consider nominating them for the DAISY award. Visit DAISYFoundation.org to learn more about Barnes’ story and how The DAISY Award recognizes exceptional nurses.
