Fishing report

Striper are fair. Live bait is putting a few fish in the boat each trip and is the most consistent way to put fish in the boat. Downriggers aren’t catching anything. Your best bet is to just put baits in the water and slowly move around with the trolling motor until you find them. Once you find them, try to stay with them but that will be difficult because there moving fast and not staying still.

Sandbass are still slow to fair. Look for them in 20-30 feet of water. Use live shad or small slabs and jigs or rattle traps. White and silver are good colors.
Catfish are still fair to good. Fish up the river near Rock Creek Camp. Cut shad is producing good numbers of fish in 10-30 feet of water fished on or near the bottom.
The water temp is steady at 63-68° F.
Water clarity is steady at 1-8 feet of visibility.
