MINERAL WELLS—More than 65 floats charmed onlookers and rallied for top recognitions in the 2024 Merry Wells Lighted Christmas Parade, Nov. 30.

The holiday caravan is a traditional staple of the annual Merry Wells Festival in Mineral Wells. The month-long celebration kicked off with a tree lighting, Nov. 29.

“The tree lighting, Merry Wells festival and parade have all been popular, being compared to something out of a Hallmark movie and the best Merry Wells weekend and parade to date,” said Main Street Manager Brittany Brown. “A couple from Fort Worth even commented that it was as good as their parade with a sweet, small-town feel.”

This year’s festival theme is ‘A Gingerbread Christmas.’
