The Mineral Wells Church of God selected a new player of the game for week 2, as the Rams faced Iowa Park in a tough match up on the road. The Rams fell to the Hawks 33-20 but were able to make a lot of adjustments and improvements that will hopefully set them up for success in the next few weeks.

Jackson Hicks was selected as the player of the game by the MWCOG for his excellent game for the Rams. Hicks was playing in his first game of the season after suffering an injury in the second scrimmage against Springtown a couple of weeks ago.

Hicks had 90 rushing yards, and a touchdown in the third quarter to help lead the offense and keep them in the game, in a new system, with a new quarterback.
