Mineral Wells found the win column again in week seven with a win over district opponent Bridgeport. The matchup marked the first district action of the season, and it began just the way the Rams wanted.

Several players made great plays and helped the Rams to the victory, but the defense was the highlight of the night, especially in the second half, where the Rams were able to hold the Bulls to only seven points. The player of the game for the Rams of course comes from that defense, Elijah Johnson. The defensive lineman was a key part of the Rams success. It was the first selection for Johnson, a senior for the Rams.
