The Mineral Wells Rams came out on top of week 7 action, getting a district win over Bridgeport.

The Mineral Wells Church of God named Owen Gadd, senior quarterback for the Rams, as their week 7 Player of the Week. Gadd was 6/8 on passing, for 140 yards, completing two touchdown passes.

Gadd has proven to be a great leader on and off the field, and despite being a little shaken up after a big hit in the second half of the game, showed grit and determination, coming back into the game to help his team secure their fifth win of the season, and start off district play with a victory.
