The Mineral Wells 5U Rams flag football team are headed to the Super Bowl this weekend to represent Mineral Wells Youth Sports Association.

The small but mighty team is the only MWYSA team to make the Super Bowl this year, despite several teams seeing playoff action. The future of Mineral Wells football is in good hands with these young athletes and their coaches.

The 5U Rams defeated Aledo 44-8 and Brock Winfrey 28-6 in the latest round of playoff action to qualify for this weekend’s final game.

The Super Bowl game will be played in Springtown on Saturday at 9 a.m.
