MINERAL WELLS – Granbury ISD Board of Trustees President Courtney Gore will be the featured speaker at the January meeting of the Palo Pinto County Republican Women’s Club.
Gore’s efforts to uphold public educational standards and ensure every child has access to quality learning opportunities have earned her recognition, most recently as Friends of Texas Public Schools’ 2024 Ambassador of the Year.
Gore will share the challenges she has faced in her quest and her vision for Texas public schools.
“We are excited and honored to host Courtney,” PPCRWC Chairwoman Mary Creighton said. “Public education is shaping up to be the most important issue of the upcoming legislative session. The insight Courtney can provide will be invaluable for our members as they follow the session.”
The club will meet on Jan. 31 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Holiday Hills Country Club clubhouse, 4801 US-180, Mineral Wells. Admission is $20 and lunch will be provided.
