The Rams made a statement in a shutout victory over the Porcupines on Thursday night in Graham.
The postseason matchup was a “win or go home” situation, and the Rams weren’t ready to go home. Mineral Wells came out firing on all cylinders with a big first inning, scoring four runs to get things started. Hayes Hering and Braxton May each recorded a pair of RBI’s in the win over the Porcupines, and Josh Petrie added another. May, Hering, William Hollifield, Owen Gadd, Curry Crouch, and Holden Hering each recorded hits in the matchup as well. The Rams would score in the third and fourth innings to cap off their scoring, adding to that big first inning burst of offense.
