HILLSBORO — The Rams and Lady Rams competed in the Hillsboro Invitational meet last weekend and finished well.

Head track coach, and Mineral Wells legend, Jackie Harvey provided the results of the meet where the varsity Rams finished in first place overall, with 89 points. That team consisted of Gabriel Borjon, Gavriel Rodriguez, Michael Borjon, Hudson Gadd, Charlie Ramsay, Carlos Castillo, Dale Flores, Eddy Canac, George Velasquez, Cruz Rodriguez, Omar Trejo, Jonathan Rosas, Christian Peel, and Chris Barrera.

The Lady Rams team finished 7th with 250 points, with a team of, Lily Moon, Citlali Lopez, Xeomara Benavides, Nayeli Cosme, Sarah Cook, Giselle Martinez, Amber Cook, Jacqueline Velasquez, and Sophia Moon.

The JV teams finished 10th and 15th to wrap up the Rams and Lady Rams runners. Cross Country travels to Midlothian next to compete in the James Smith Invitational.
