PALO PINTO—Take a step back in time to experience a holiday season of yesteryear with Frontier Christmas at the Old Jail Museum Complex in Palo Pinto, Dec. 12.
The family-friendly event features musicians, caroling, storytelling and hayrides. Gates open at 5 p.m. and Frontier Fare Tasting starts at 5:30 p.m. The country store will also be open for all of your holiday shopping needs.
The Old Jail Museum is located at 231 S. Fifth Ave., Palo Pinto.
Old-time string band, Buttermilk Junction, will play Victorian-era Christmas music in the historic 1882 First Christian Church, from 6-8 p.m.

First Christian Church is the oldest church building in Palo Pinto. It’s located at 728 Elm St., just around the corner from the Old Jail Museum.
