May 16 – Meals on Wheels at Palo Pinto County golf tournament at Holiday Hills Golf Course, 4801 US 180, Mineral Wells. Registration begins at 8 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Proceeds go toward Meals on Wheels of Palo Pinto County, which helps homebound seniors. Cost is $400 per team. This event, which is free to enter, showcases original cars and trucks, modified cars and trucks, Jeeps, vintage cars and more. Car show registration is $25.
